Beware of energy bars and drinks.

There are plenty of people in search of the fountain of agility and they believe they'll actually find it in these so-called nutrition bars whether it's Powerbar, Genisoy or Clif to name a few

. In reality, the term energy means contains calories if you read between the lines. While most of these energy bars are indeed a healthier choice than a candy bar, they are nutrient-dense, often have more sugar than you'd expect and do little to boost your energy levels.

You'd be better off reaching for a piece of fruit or a healthy sandwich using whole wheat bread. You'll get more vitamins and minerals from whole, balanced foods.
